A most interesting silver snuff box dating to the 18th century and has been passed to a number of people in its history.

First inscription C Jorgen H v d Diepenbeck 1730 marked out in pin pricks.
Second inscription H v d Heidt roman numerals 1804
Third inscription W v d Heidt 1842
Fourth inscription G W E Scheidt 1862
Fifth inscription G A E Scheidt 1866
Sixth inscription Erich Cron 1926

Gilding inside is in excellent order.  Makers mark HP possibly Henry Price, London.
