This is a wonderful bakelite perfume container in the form of a tophat. 

The inside of the hat removes to reveal the glass scent bottle which would have contained mischief perfume. I understand these were first manufactured on the early 1930's.  

It is in great condition and the perfume bottle fits into the tophat really well.
