19th Century “neopolitan” Figure of a Market Seller

This is the second of these figures I have been lucky enough to offer for sale. I believe this to be a 19th century "Neopolitan" figure of a market seller. Very original. It is a figure of a man balancing a basket of flowers on his head and a basket of vegetables on his arm. He also has a bag of flower seeds in one hand. The basket work is amazing quality as is his straw hat. There is fading to the contents of the baskets and there is natural wear to his clothes commensurate with age, I have made no atttempt to clean them. Overall it is in very good order. I think the base may not be the original. Sorry due to the delicate nature of the item I will not be able to ship this outside the UK.
