These are a delightful pair of 19th century treen ladies boots.  So nice to have the pair still together.  I understand that pairs of shoes/boots were given as love tokens and seen as being lucky.  There are small pins/nails running up the front of each boot with thread wound round to form the laces.  Lovely textured details to the sides and wonderful heels.
