A super small octagonal silver box. Dating from the late 17th early 18th century. Simple decoration to the front panel, owners initials to the base FW. This box has a great patination which you would expect from a box of this age. It is also showing signs of wear commensurate with its age and use which of course all adds to its history. Not sure of its use, a continental box of similar form seems to have held perfume, guess it would be a solid perfume. No marks.
