Item Details
A most unusual silver filigree box in the form of a writing slope/box. If you look closely at the first picture you can see that there is an ink pot and a pounce pot. The front of the box has even been engraved with a escutcheon keyhole. Marked in various places with the number 13 in a circle which indicates silver originating from Germany or nearby country. Condition commensurate with age and use (the lid doesn't quite close)
