This is a large quality pair of silver plated andiron sugar tongs  with a wooden finial, which unscrews for cleaning, shell bowls. Plate marks for Daniel Arter in Birmingham. Super condition. Plate makers mark for Daniel & Arter.   I think on reflection these might be for ice!
