Tortoiseshell

A late 19th century tortoiseshell box with unmarked silver hinges and fastening. There is a label to the inside of the lid "The Antique Shop Lion & Lamb Courtyard, Farnham, Surrey."  This shop must have retailed the item as some point. The overall condition is very good, the lid is slightly bowed and there is the odd nibble to the tortoiseshell. Possibly Ceylonese.

PLEASE NOTE THIS ITEM CANNOT BE SHIPPED OUTSIDE THE UK.
