A great example of a McIntyre egg modeled as a birds egg.

Silver top is marked for Birmingham 1885 makers mark Saunders & Shepherd.  Silver top is in good order and fitted with a cork lining and the silver screw thread fitted to the top of the egg is also in good order so it closes well.

On the base of the egg is a registered design number 20772.
