A very rare 17th century folding spoon. The handle is made of iron and inlaid with silver depicting hunting scenes. Some inlay missing and condition commensurate with age and use. The reverse of the bowl of the spoon carries two marks probably makers mark and country of origin mark. Bowl is made of low grade silver. There is a sliding mechanism to hold the spoon in one piece. Originating from Europe maybe Germany or Low Countries.
