Rare Late 17th Early 18th Century Snuff Box

This is a rare little item. Dating from the late 17th early 18th century tortoishell and silver coloured metal. Lovely heart shape, stand away hinge. It has got a split on the front, but still a rare item. There are one or two other nibbles to the tortoishell commensurate with age. Similar example in The Albert Collection - Five hundred years of British & European silver P17. The asking price reflects the condition but would make a great addition to a collection
