Item Details
This is a very rare item. Communion tokens were widely used throughout Scotland during the 19th century but examples are usually in a base metal.
This is for a church in Inverkeithing which is north of Edinburgh and we believe the maker could be Richard Haxton. This would have belonged to a wealthy individual. The reverse of the token is completely plain
