Material

A very rare and unusual silver scent bottle and compact combination.  The compact is complete with the mirror and the original powder puff, some remains of powder.  The front has an inscription Scottie 1929.  The front and back are both marked as is the inside of the compact rim.  Interestly the front of the bottle has a date letter for 1929 and the reverse for 1930 which as the item was made in two halves would explain this.  The date letter changed in May.  Makers mark for F Burton Crosbee
