A great example of a silver nutmeg grater Thomas Phipps, Edward Robinson & James Phipps.  London 1811.

Top opens to reveal the steel grater, which is great condition.  The base opens to store the nutmeg, lovely concealed hinge.

The top of the box is decorated with a family crest.
