This is a sterling silver ring box produced by Birks of Canada.

Birks was founded back in 1879 in Montreal.

Not sure of the exact date of manufacture but could be 1930's.

The top of the box has the back to back B's as a company logo.

A Canadian customer told me that her mothers engagement ring came from Birks and she was given a silver box on the purchase of the ring.
