A nice example of a silver tape measure. Marked for Birmingham 1909, sadly makers mark rubbed. The tape is wound in using the rather nice silver finial on the top. The silk tape measure is not complete it starts at 27 and is in rather a delicate condition. The small finial at the base unscrews to allow a new measure to be inserted.
