A super example of a silver thimble. Clearly marked for Birmingham 1911 makers mark James Swann.

The end of the thimble is Connemara marble which is a lovely green colour when held to the light. The decoration around the base of the thimble is an Irish harp surrounded by shamrocks, really unusual, one for a collection. Size 8

Condition of thimble and box is excellent.
